I will be presenting the Installation “MR-808” with a debut performance at the awesome Media Arts Festival CYNETART in Dresden-Hellerau (Germany) alongside a week full of other interesting events. The show will take place the 15.11.201, 21:00. Be there!
“Simon Moritz Geist performs electronic music – with mechanic music robots. The tracks which are build around the music robot “MR-808″ range from electronica, abstract techno too mysterious electro pop. The centerpiece of the performance, the Robot Installation “MR-808″ is a mechanical replica of the infamous drum machine “TR-808″. Eleven sounds of the 1981-build Drumsynthezisers have been replaced by automatic robotic instruments.
