After my team and I spent the pandemic in our workshop and doing corporate projects, I am now finally working on new music material and performance! Here, I mainly compose with my musical robot instrument "VIBRATIONS": a futuristic, deconstructed sound robot based on the sound generation of the vibraphone.
In the compositions, I combine "Vibrations" with other robotically generated sounds, which I then record live. What I particularly like about this, is the resulting hybrid organic-mechanical sound.
I will be releasing two singles and an EP in the next months.COLLABORATIONS
I am currently also focusing on various collaborations such as with the AI-voice artist Portrait XO, UK producer Koreless and of course with my friend Cuthead. Cuthead has produced many of my previous videos and we are currently working on a 3-minute apocalyptic music short film called "WAKE UP".
A lot of time and love still goes into the production of Instagram videos. Started in the pandemic, this presentation has grown on me (despite competition with 5-second cat videos and "12 lifehacks for the kitchen"). Presenting an instrument or an idea in 30-60 seconds means a real reduction to the basics. Besides, I don't have to leave the house!

6 May - 5 June 2022: Essen (Germany), KI Biennale. The KI Biennale Essen is probably known to few, as its the first edition. My installation VIBRATIONS can be seen there until 5 June.
02 June - 05 June 2022: Jazz Festival Moers: MR-808
10 June 2022: Re:publica. At my favorite internet conference I will be playing the main stage as a weird robot-AI showband together with Portrait XO.
29 June -03 July 2022 Kaunas, Lithuania. Did you know that there is not only one European Capital of Culture, but three?! This year it's Novi Sad (Serbia), Esch-sur-Alzette (Luxembourg) and Kaunas. And thanks to the warm invitation, we are guests there at the end of June with several installations!
